How bad is -1 vision?

I have always wanted to be a Navy SEAL. the problem is i just got -1 prescription glasses. I don't really know what that means, but i do know to be a SEAL your vision must be no worse than 20/40 in one eye and 20/70 in the other. So can i still become a SEAL? Also if not would i be able to corrective surgery? thanks
