Overall, my vision is not excellent. I am definitely farsighted (can't see up close). But here is when it gets tricky. It takes about five seconds to adjust to the chalkboard(I am a student), and even after I adjust, the far a way vision is still not pristine. Any suggestions?

I don't really know what that means, but i do know to be a SEAL your vision must be no worse than 20/40 in one eye and 20/70 in the other. So can i still become a SEAL? Can neighbor sue me for land survey cost?

Around 6 months ago I installed a picket fence between my property and my neighbors. At the time we both agreed where to put the fence. A month after he has a survey done and it shows that I am on his property in two spots about 6 inches but I'm also on my property in some areas 6 inches. I offered to move the fence onto my property but he told me he was going to take me to court and if I touched the fence it would be trespassing. I have received a letter stating he is going to sue me for the full cost of his survey 850$, his legal fees, and for us to move the fence. I don't mind moving the fence but can he make me pay for a survey and legal fees? I've tried talking to him about it but he insists we pay for the survey and says we can not move the fence until he takes us to court for the survey cost.

Is it normal to have one eye with nearsightedness and the other is normal vision?

I'm not sure if it s considered nearsightedness. Cuz I don't know the difference between nearsightedness and farsightedness. My left eye cannot see objects that are far away but it can see stuff up close. My right eye is normal vision. So pretty much I can see clearly cuz my right eye helps a lot. I'm 14 and had this problem checked out probably last year? I noticed this happened 2-3 years ago when I closed my right eye during school. My friend told me that I could strain my right eye if I didn't get glasses or something? But when I got it checked out by the eye doctor the guy said it was fine and I could probably put one contact lense in my left eye (if it bothered me). I chose not do anything so right now i have one eye with horrible vision and the other eye is normal. Please help me! I have no idea what to do! Should I go back to the eye doctor?!

Which LED for Night Vision?

I have the Night vision goggles from the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 box. It has an ok range but not the best. I was wondering if I could make a better version of this setup, Or improve with an IR LED array. I searched on Ebay for these LED's I found lots however they are at different wavelengths example 840nm, 850nm, 940nm and 950nm. Which would provide a longer distance of view with a reasonable sized array say 24 LED's running any voltage required. Is there a better alternative for distance with IR LED. Or even a better Night vision setup. Ps, (Don't tell me to go buy a FLIR I cannot buy one in canada due to being classed as fire arm Scopes. I'm installing a 3' vinyl fence. Can I cut post covers in half to save money?

The fence is a 3' picket fence. Vinly post covers are fairly expensive and come in 100" sections. Since only 4' of the post is above ground, can I cut the post covers in half and have the wooden post go deeper then the vinyl covering? How I warm up for cello is I play a C major scale (2 octaves), then C# major scale (2 octaves), D major scale (2 octaves), and so on. It usually takes a while but it very much helps. Dizziness & Unclear Vision?

Yesterday when I got out of the shower I started drying off and then I start feeling dizzy and weak. So I head for the kitchen to get a glass of water hoping it would help. On my way there it gets worse and worse. Once I get the glass I head towards a chair cuz Im weak. Then my vision get funky. Like you know the dots you see when you look at the sun? Yeah, well I had these all over my sight. And I feel like im going to faint. I get to the chair sit down and drink and like 30 seconds later it disapeers. After its gone I shake like crazy and can hardly walk cause my legs r weak. Its been happening about once a month for about 7 months now. (Every single time was after a shower.) And now its getting worse and worse and happening about once a week. What does this sound like to you?

Does anyone know why I see an orange spot when I first wake up?

When I wake up usually from a nap I see orange in the center of my vision for a few seconds and it slowly fades away. I recently was prescribed eye glasses for computer use so I use them at home. I see the near future sometimes?

When i was young i used to have those little visions. My question is, what is their motive? On their website they said they they would never pray for a damned soul (aka "fag") but at the same time if a gay person came into their church, they would basically accept them with open arms and teach them "the right ways". I think they have taken freedom of speech, and basically gutted it with a machete. They totally abused that right and think they should all be thrown in jail for hate crimes and disturbing the peace. I know how it feels to be worried about these things. But its ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry. You may need to just take a day to lay in the bath, cool down, relax, just lay in the bed, no bright lights or anything. It could be something like vertigo. But, I'm not a doctor, so i dont really know. If by any chance it is a tumor..the sooner your catch it, the easier it is to cure. So the longer you wait or put it off, its going to become more difficult to fix. But, I do really suggest that you see a doctor.

Eye problems and constant fear.?

For the last few months i have not been able to drive a car it fees like my brain isnt picking up on things as fast as they are coming at me. My vision feels off really bad. Also I constantly have fear for some reason. For instance if i see a shadow in my field of veiw and can't figure out what it is i freak out bit, or if there is a smell that is stuck in my nose i freak out. It is so much worse when i am driving it is like my mind is gonna stop working almost anyone have any hints for me or experienced this. I have been to multiple doctors and i have no relief. I am on xanax 1 mg 3 x daily and lexapro 10 mg which i just started.

I have pain in my back, and my right side. I am constantly feeling nausea and tired. Pictures of the Milky Way are from the inside. You can look up and see it at night in a dark spot. As for pictures of other galaxies, you can take them yourself. A decent camera which can take a 30-sec or longer exposure can get a picture of the Andromeda galaxy, and you can see that too with your eyes. Other galaxies require at least a small telescope, but you can still see them and take your own pictures. We aren't showing planets in other galaxies, but some stars are bright enough to see. The Mars rovers are actually on Mars sending back images.

Whenever I watch or read programs about the fight for civil rights in the 1960's, they always portray people marching in support of school integration. My question is, did black people at that time really want to integrate public schools? I can vividly remember large groups picketing outside my school, but they were chanting "Hell, no - we won't go!" Meaning they did not want to leave their school. This confuses me. Is my security camera going bad or is someone distorting it?

I have a home security camera system. It is wired, weather proof, and has night vision. The wiring is mounted along the side of my home and I made sure to set it in the camera's view so there is no way for anyone to tamper with it without being caught on camera. So, about a month or two ago, i found out that my best friends little sister (who is like my little sister), has seizures and has something along the lines of epilepsy. okay well my eyesight has been on and off for a while lets start in elementary. I was about maybe 8 or 9 years old when i got my eyes checked by an optometrist and he said i had astigmatism and he gave me glasses which made me see things more closer and farther away than they actually were so i never wore them. Then a few years later i went to get my eyes checked again but in a different place called 4 eyes and they told me my left eye only was a bit less than 20 so i was close to 20/20 vision but a bit off on the left eye and that I didn't need the glasses. Now im 14 and my left eye is a bit more blurrier then my right when im looking at objects and print from far away. I am going to the optometrist this week and im probably going to get glasses. But depending on my history with eyesight will my eyesight become worse as the years go by? Im really worried about that happening i mean my parents didn't have nearsightedness only reading glasses and my mom has glaucoma in her eyes because she also has diabetes but none of that runs in her family. I was proud of the UK for what they did! We here in Portland allowed them to protest, but assigned them a spot two blocks below the church on a busy highway. It had been raining for days and the streets were like small lakes. Every time a car passed them they were covered with waves of muddy water. I drove by three times! i have terrible eyesight. i can't see anything clearly unless it's 5 inches from me. and i'm constantly depressed about this and i feel like giving up. i'm only 14, and by the time i'm 21 for my lasik, i'm afraid of going legally blind or such bad vision that i may not be able to not do anything i enjoy such as sports. should i be worried? what can i do to keep my current vision all the way until 21?

I suggest going to the doctors and getting it checked out. I have the same thing happen to me more than I can stand and I am going to the doctors this weekend. Eye closes when flash..?

Every time I take a picture, and it flashes, one of my eyes closes more then the other.. So one eye is always smaller. Its always my right eye... Is this bad? Or is this normal? It just started... my son was 9 when he got diabetes and the reason i kind of suspected him to have diabetes was because he was thirsty all of the time and when he talked i could hear how dry his mouth was. when we went to the docs they tested his pee and he had diabetes he lost a lot of weight too, best just to get it looked at it only takes a second and it might not be that but the longer you leave it if you do have it you will just fell worse and worse- good luck though

I think i am hallucinating?

I get tunnel vision, and during this time everyone i look at, their eyes, the iris, is white and glowing, like a neon light, my ears block and just hear distorted noises and the ground is no longer stable. Only after i fall or i yell or someone shakes me or there is a loud bang it all goes away. It's last for about 1 minute - 5minutes at a time, these have been the worst times of my life. How can I put on some weight?

I'm 17 and this will sound gross but I'm 6'2 and only 120 lbs...I eat normally, and even if I had 5 Carl's Jr. western bacon cheese burgers in one day I wouldn't gain a single pound. I even drink milk with every meal which is like 140 calories alone...I mean what the hell, I can drink a 2 liter bottle of coke every day for one month and I guarantee I will not gain one single pound. (Not trying to brag, I really hate this because I look anorexic.) I'm really getting tired of people telling me to "eat more" and I feel like punching their lights out because I probably eat more than their fat @ss. I bought that syntha 6 protein shake a month ago and I've been working out and still nothing. I drink it with milk twice a day which is like 64g protein and 700 calories for both...I think it's been like a year and a half and that needle just won't move...I mean if I was like 150 I wouldn't care, but come on I weigh less than girls for christ sake! I'm a walking f*cking skeleton. I went to my doctor about this last year and all she said was to work out, which I do. I lift heavy weights with low reps and my arms are still bones. -_-

Eye slightly puffy & painful?

any suggestions on what could be wrong with my eye? this has happened about three times over a course of six months. no impaired eye vision & has happened with & without contact lenses. the inner corner of my left eye gets a little red & puffy & very tender to touch. it feels like i was elbowed in the face when i touch it. which i know i wasnt. its also painful to blink & the pain goes about a half inch under my eye & down a bit of my cheek bone. its not severely debilitating & i can deal with it very easily. it usually goes away after several days to a bit over a week. thanks :)

Help!!! I'm having really bad eye problems!?

The past couple of days I have been noticing my eyes have been in a lot of pain recently. I thought it might have been allergies since I'm only 16, but now I'm not so sure. Today I used almost no electronics or video games to see if that was the problem. I only watched an hour of tv. When I woke up this morning my vision was EXTRA blurry. My left eye hurts more than my right. The nerve endings in the back have gray spots and the ones near my eye are SUPER red and have a yellow- ish and sometimes brown looking tint (near the nerve endings). There's also a somewhat sensitivity to light, but it is just overall painful. Some nerves even come up to the colored part of my eye. Also, I could've sworn that on my left eye on the white part there was a redish looking scratch. Please help!!!

Did the BBC show Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" in the 1980s or 90s?

I seem to recall it was the 1980s but it was a long time ago and my memory isn't that sharp. It was shown on the BBC. It was absolutely fantastic and Carl Sagan and Patrick Moore's Sky at Night (to be honest it was mostly Sky at Night) that got me interested in Astronomy. It was Carl Sagan's Space Ship of the Imagination though that really brought those planets to life for me and first showed me I could use my imagination as an astronomical instrument to help me actually visualise what the data sheets were telling me.
